Job summary

Intuit, Inc. is seeking a Senior Staff Software Engineer for the Virtual Expert Platform Customer Success Tech organization in San Diego.

You will set technical direction for a multi-agent AI customer success platform, architect end-to-end ecosystems, and lead complex cross-team initiatives while staying hands-on across the software lifecycle. You will mentor engineers, define standards, and collaborate with product and business leadership to move strategy forward.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of experience building web, software, or data-intensive applications with senior leadership.
• Experience architecting end-to-end ecosystems for analytical and customer-centric platforms at scale.
• Hands-on AI/ML capabilities in production, including multi-agent systems and guardrails.

Responsibilities

• Architect scalable, secure, interoperable platforms feeding CS experiences.
• Stay hands-on 50–70% of time across the software lifecycle; rest on architecture and strategy.
• Resolve the most complex cross-team technical problems spanning onboarding, value realization, partners, and growth.
• Define standards, patterns, and reference architectures; measure impact, reliability, and safety of AI in production.
• Lead AI integrations to production with evaluation, observability, and guardrails; assess impact on performance and retention.
• Collaborate with CS Experts and Operations to validate field solutions and close feedback loop.
• Influence senior leadership with clear trade-offs; shape the roadmap.
• Mentor Staff/senior engineers and grow AI-capable bench across Sales, Partner, CS Tech.
