Visa’s Technology Organization is actively hiring versatile, curious Software Engineers to tackle complex global challenges. You will join a multi-functional team designing, building, and testing software that serves billions of users.

As a Senior Staff Engineer, you will focus on leveraging AI to solve engineering and customer challenges, integrating agentic AI, LLMs, and ML to boost productivity and experiences across B2B, B2C, P2P, and G2C flows.

Qualifications

8+ years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor's Degree or 5+ years with an Advanced Degree or 11+ years with a PhD.
Experience with AI agent frameworks, LLMs, or generative AI applications.
Knowledge of AI-powered development tools or building similar systems.
Understanding of commercial payments, money movement, B2B payables, or payment processing.
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and modern architectures.
Knowledge of API design, microservices, and distributed systems.
Experience leading cross-team technical initiatives

Responsibilities

Design AI-powered solutions that improve engineering productivity and customer-facing features.
Lead cross-functional technical initiatives and drive AI adoption standards.
