Currently, we are searching for an Assistant Controller to fulfill an immediate permanent need with a client on a hybrid schedule based out of Nashville, TN.

This individual will be responsible for:

• Preparing financial statements in compliance with GAAP, regulatory standards, and company policies
• Overseeing month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
• Managing the general ledger, reconciliations, accruals, and journal entries
• Leading and mentoring the accounting team, supporting performance evaluation and development
• Assisting with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
• Maintaining internal controls to ensure compliance and safeguard company assets
• Coordinating with external auditors and tax consultants for audits and tax filings
• Providing financial analysis and insights to support strategic decision-making
• Collaborating with operational and clinical teams to streamline financial processes
• Overseeing ERP system management, cash forecasting, and weekly AP check runs

We are actively speaking with applicants that have a minimum of:

• 7+ years of progressive accounting experience with a strong knowledge of GAAP
• Multi-location healthcare experience REQUIRED
• Proven experience leading and mentoring an accounting team
• CPA preferred
• Advanced Excel skills
