Municipality of Anchorage is seeking an experienced accounting professional to serve as a Functional SME for the SAP Project Systems module and to lead RSA program budgeting and financial control efforts. You will coordinate with departments, oversee fiscal requirements for capital bonds and grants, and prepare reports for reimbursement or capitalization.

Qualifications

• HS diploma, GED or equivalent and 7 years of accounting/payroll/office experience.
• Associates degree in Accounting, Economics, Management, Business Administration or related field plus 5 years of professional accounting experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Economics, Management, Business Administration or related field plus 3 years of professional accounting experience.
• CPA or CMA certification plus 3 years of professional accounting experience.

Responsabilités

• Perform SME duties for the SAP Project Systems (PS) module and assist other departments as SME in SAP Project Costing.
• Plan, organize, direct and evaluate RSA program outside Anchorage Roads and Drainage Service Area including budgeting and contracting.
• Lead staff accountants to ensure capital bonds and grants are expensed properly and prepare financial reports for reimbursement or capitalization.
• Oversee billing for state and federal grants and TEA21 projects; resolve citizen complaints through coordination with boards and contractors.
