Job summary

The Senior Staff Accountant at DHL eCommerce will support all parts of our US financial reporting process, with emphasis on intercompany accounting and balance sheet reconciliations. You will use SAP S/4 Hana to analyze complex accounts and drive process improvements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP and IFRS.

You will partner with finance, operations, and IT to deliver timely statements, support audits, and mentor the accounting team while maintaining ownership mindset and high

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance required.
• CPA or equivalent certification preferred.
• 5+ years of operational accounting or 2+ years in Big Four/enterprise experience.
• Public accounting experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Tax and duty balance sheet accounts reconciliation and validation.
• Detailed balance sheet reconciliations; identify discrepancies.
• Conduct thorough analysis of complex accounts.
• Utilize SAP S/4 Hana for reporting and improvements.
• Assist in monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Support internal and external audits and compliance.
• Identify and implement accounting process improvements.
• Collaborate with finance, operations, and IT teams.
• Apply GAAP/IFRS technical accounting for complex transactions.
• Mentor and coach accounting team to drive performance.
