Job summary

Cengage seeks a Staff Accountant to join the Consolidations & Group Reporting team in the United States. The role supports monthly, quarterly, and year-end close, ensuring accurate financial reporting and effective consolidation processes in a global environment.

You will assist with account reconciliations, one-time cost reporting, CTA reconciliations, data validations, and recurring reports while coordinating with accounting and finance to resolve open items and support audits.

Qualifications

• Experience with month-end close, quarter-end close and year-end close processes.
• Ability to prepare and review account reconciliations and schedules.
• Familiarity with consolidation and reporting in a global public-company environment.
• Knowledge of financial data validation and report generation.
