Job summary

DUAL North America, Inc. is looking for a Sr. Staff Accountant in San Diego to join their dynamic accounting team. This position plays a critical role in maintaining accurate financial reporting and supporting various accounting operations within the company.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance and a minimum of 3 years of experience, preferably in insurance accounting. The role emphasizes teamwork, problem-solving, and analytical skills, aligned with DUAL’s commitment to ethical behavior.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of relevant experience, including exposure to insurance accounting, preferred.
• Solid working knowledge of US GAAP, accounting best practices, and internal controls.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Own key accounting operations, including general ledger maintenance and financial reporting.
• Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules.
• Ensure accuracy and compliance with GAAP, internal controls, and company policies.
