Qualifications

• Requires a bachelor's degree or High School Diploma/GED with 4 years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
• Requires 5+ years of experience with monthly financial close, consolidated statements, journal entries, and reconciliations.
• Proficient in US GAAP and applying accounting guidance to journal entries, reconciliations, analyses and reporting.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills to articulate accounting matters across levels.
• Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with regulatory reporting preferred.
• CPA/ CMA or related certifications preferred.
• ERP experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare journal entries and account reconciliations independently.
• Lead monthly financial close activities.
• Prepare consolidated financial statements and related reporting deliverables.
• Analyze and resolve complex accounting issues and variances.
• Communicate accounting matters clearly to stakeholders across the organization.
