The ideal candidate will develop relationships with clients, manage written communications, and pursue CPA certification while contributing to business growth and firm image

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of accounting experience.
• Ability to manage client communications and staff supervision.
• Pursuit of CPA certification encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Accept responsibility for routine engagements and delegate work to lower-level staff.
• Maintain communication with lower-level staff to ensure accuracy and timeliness of work.
• Maintain communication with supervisors, managers and partners to keep the work-process organized and efficient.
• Begin developing relationships with clients and handle routine responsibilities with guidance from superiors.
• Handle written correspondence with minimal supervision.
• Actively pursue CPA certificate and professional development.
• Demonstrate ability to sell new services to existing clients and attract new business.
• Work with management on in-house training programs, including CPE and other presentations.
• Continue participation in civic events while reflecting Firm image and attracting new business.
• Work with supervisor/manager/partners on assigning work to staff accountants.
• Demonstrate leadership of staff accountants.
