The role focuses on journal entries, reconciliations, month-end close, financial reporting, and audits. CPA preferred; 3+ years of experience and strong communication are desired for success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field required.
• 3+ years related accounting experience preferred.
• CPA (Certified Public Accountant) preferred.
• Strong communication skills required.
• Strong analytics and trend analysis experience and knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Compile and analyze financial information to transact journal entries to the general ledger.
• Review and reconcile financial information for balance sheet accounts.
• Identify and resolve reconciling differences for various accounts.
• Provide oversight of bank account reconciliation process.
• Prepare, coordinate, and input assigned month-end closing schedules and entries.
• Prepare and distribute monthly and quarterly financial reporting packages.
• Assist with interim and annual external audits.
• Perform progress pay estimate billings for all companies as assigned.
• Provide periodic overload assistance and special project investigations as directed.

Education

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related field
