Responsibilities

• Compile and analyze financial information to transact journal entries to the general ledger.
• Review and reconcile balance sheet accounts in detail.
• Identify and resolve reconciling differences across accounts.
• Provide oversight of the bank reconciliation process.
• Coordinate month-end closing schedules and entries.
• Prepare and distribute monthly and quarterly financial reporting packages.
• Assist with external audits (interim and annual).
• Perform progress pay estimate billings for assigned companies.
• Provide overload assistance and support as requested by Accounting Manager or Controller.

As a Senior Staff Accountant, you will bring a strategic approach to analyzing financial information and preparing accurate reports, ensuring our business decisions are informed and effective. How You Will Make an Impact

• Compile and analyze financial information in order to transact journal entries to the general ledger.
• Review and reconcile financial information in detail for balance sheet accounts.
• Identify and resolve reconciling differences for various accounts.
• Provide oversight of bank account reconciliation process.
• Responsible for preparation, coordination, and input of assigned month-end closing schedules and entries.
• Prepare and distributes of monthly & quarterly financial reporting packages.
• Assist with interim and annual external audits.
• Perform progress pay estimate billings for all companies as assigned.
• Provide periodic overload assistance and special project investigation as directed by the Accounting Manager, Tax Manager or Assistant Corporate Controller.

Who You Are

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or a related field required.
• 3+ years related experience preferred.
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) preferred.
• Strong communication skills required.
• Strong analytics and trend analysis experience and knowledge.
