Job summary

Webb & Associates CPA LLC in Pompano Beach, FL seeks an experienced Senior Accountant (Auditor) to lead review and compilation engagements for a broad client base and support tax compliance needs. You will work directly with management and partners to deliver high-quality service, applying strong technical accounting and tax knowledge.

The role requires a CPA firm background, strong communication, and the ability to manage multiple engagements independently or with teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Minimum of 4 years accounting and tax experience in CPA firm setting.
• Knowledge of construction accounting is a big plus (WIP Schedules, CIP).
• Experience with compilation and review of GAAP and OCBOA financial statements.
• Experience with Ultratax CS preferred.
• Strong knowledge of assurance and accounting standards.
• Experience with Engagement Manager from Thompson Reuters required.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong organizational and project management skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct financial statements compilation and review engagements according to GAAP and OCBOA.
• Manage engagements from start to completion including consulting directly with clients.
• Prepare engagement working papers, financial statements, and client correspondence.
• Prepare and review WIP and Percentage Completion Schedules for clients in the construction industry.
• Preparation of individual, corporate and partnership tax returns including 1040, 1065, 1120, 1120S and 1041.
• Work with other staff members to take on increasing responsibility and delivery of smaller projects.
• Ensure high-quality, timely delivery, and positive client experience for all projects.

A Full Service CPA Firm located in Pompano Beach, FL is looking for an experienced Senior Accountant (Auditor). Reporting to the firm’s management group, this position’s primary responsibility is to take a lead role in the performance of review and compilation engagements for a broad range of clientele, as well as assisting in tax compliance needs. A senior accountant contributes to the success of the firm by working directly with management and partners to provide clients with high-quality service.
