Established, dynamic, rapidly growing Fort Lauderdale company is looking for a talented Hybrid Senior Staff Accountant to join its successful accounting team, reporting to the Controller. The ideal candidate will be responsible for full cycle accounting.

Responsibilities

1. Work closely with the Controller to ensure accuracy of all financial transactions and maintain financial records.
2. Perform bank reconciliations.
3. Prepare and post journal entries.
4. Conduct Balance Sheet account reconciliations.
5. Evaluate Income Statement monthly for accuracy and correct any discrepancies.
6. Assist the Controller in cash forecasting and projections.
7. Handle inventory reconciliations and cost adjustments.
8. Participate in special ad hoc projects.

Qualifications

1. Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Accounting, Economics, or Finance.
2. Minimum of 5 years' experience in accounting, with at least 2 years in consumer goods.
3. Proficient in Microsoft Excel (Pivot tables and VLOOKUP).
4. Experience with ERP systems.
5. Strong knowledge of GAAP and accounting principles.
6. Experience working with e-commerce platforms and system integrations is a plus.
