Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Senior Staff Accountant for an on-site role in Seattle, WA. You will manage monthly close, financial reporting, and SOX compliance while supporting A/R and A/P processes for a high-growth manufacturing environment.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's in Accounting or Finance, 3–5 years of relevant experience, and strong GAAP knowledge. Excellent communication and collaboration with cross-functional teams are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required. A Master's degree or CPA certification is preferred.
• 3-5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within the Manufacturing industry.
• SOX experience and GAAP knowledge.
• Experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks, Baan, or Infor.
• Experience assisting with A/R and A/P transactions.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Cost accounting including standard cost analysis, rollover, inventory count and reserve analysis, Capex and fixed assets activities recording.

• Assisting with financial audits, and coordinating with external auditors as necessary.

Job Details

We are seeking a dynamic and highly-motivated Senior Staff Accountant to join our team. You will be preparing financial statements, managing monthly close process, accountant reconciliations, financial reporting analysis, and supporting A/R and A/P transactions. This role has great potential to grow into the Assistant Controller / Controller role for the right person!

Responsibilities

1. Preparing and presenting accurate and timely financial reports to senior management.
2. Ensuring compliance with all financial regulations and standards, including SOX.

4. Extensive knowledge of accounting software such as QuickBooks, Baan, or Infor will be a plus.
5. Experience assisting in A/R and A/P transactions will be a plus.
6. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present financial information in a clear and concise manner.
7. Manage cost accounting activities including standard cost analysis and rollover, inventory count and reserve analysis, Capex and fixed assets activities recording.
