Job summary

LMK Recruiting is seeking a Senior Staff Accountant in the Greater Chicago area to take ownership of audit engagements from planning through completion, delivering high-quality work and timely results. You will design audit programs, assess risks, and supervise teams to ensure GAAP compliance.

You will mentor staff and senior associates, build strong relationships with clients, and deliver actionable recommendations under GAAS and GAAP.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of audit experience at Senior Associate level or equivalent.
• Deep knowledge of GAAS and GAAP.
• Hands-on experience with audit tools and software (ACL, IDEA, TeamMate or similar).
• Strong analytical abilities, attention to detail and problem-solving mindset.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

Requirements
