Job summary

SpaceX is looking for a SR. SITE RELIABILITY ENGINEER to lead the development of automation and management of compute resources both on-premises and in the cloud. The ideal candidate has solid experience in Linux systems and Kubernetes, with a strong ability to collaborate with software engineers to create scalable products.

This role offers a competitive salary between $165,000 and $230,000 and extensive benefits, including a 401(k), health coverage, and generous vacation policies.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional experience with Linux operating systems required.
• 5+ years of experience with Kubernetes.
• Experience in Bash, Python, and/or other scripting languages.

Responsibilities

• Develop automation to deploy and manage compute resources both on-premises and in the cloud.
• Deploy and manage core infrastructure such as databases, monitoring and storage.
• Closely collaborate with software engineers to create highly scalable, operable and maintainable products.
