Job summary

Parallel Domain is hiring a Senior Site Reliability Engineer to design, operate, and scale multi-region AWS infrastructure for large-scale simulation workloads used in autonomous-systems testing. You will own reliability, security, and deployment systems relied on by the engineering org.

This startup-style role collaborates with platform, simulation, and ML teams, tackling Windows workloads on Kubernetes, GPU scheduling, and batch simulations.

Qualifications

• 5+ years building and operating production systems across multiple regions.
• Terraform modules, state management, and multi-environment patterns.
• Solid AWS experience across VPC, IAM, EKS, S3, CloudWatch.
• Kubernetes cluster operations including autoscaling, RBAC, and Helm.
• CI/CD and GitOps experience with GitHub Actions or ArgoCD.
• Networking fundamentals: DNS, load balancing, cross-region connectivity.
• Observability with Prometheus and Grafana.
• Scripting in Python and Bash for tooling and automation.
• Experience supporting Linux and Windows workloads is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Infrastructure ownership and cloud operations across multi-region AWS.
• Reliability engineering: incident response, postmortems, and improvements.
• Security and IAM governance, audit-readiness, and customer questionnaires.
• Platform tooling: CI/CD pipelines and developer experience in Python/Bash.
