Job summary

Karsun Solutions in the DMV area is seeking a Site Reliability Manager to ensure reliability, scalability, and performance of our systems. You will lead a team focusing on Application Reliability, DevSecOps, and Platform Lifecycle Management.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years in SRE leadership on AWS, 5+ years operating fault-tolerant cloud-native apps, and strong IaC/CI-CD skills (Terraform, Ansible, ArgoCD). Public Trust clearance is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelors in Computer Science, Engineering or related field; Master's preferred.
• 10+ years leading site reliability teams and delivering on AWS.
• 5+ years maintaining production cloud-native apps that are fault-tolerant and highly available.
• Deep AWS knowledge and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• IaC & CI/CD expertise (Terraform, Ansible, ArgoCD).
• Experience with Datadog as the primary monitoring/logging platform, plus CloudWatch.
• Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Ability to obtain Public Trust clearance.
• Nice-to-have: AWS DevOps Engineer certification.

Responsibilities

• Lead an 8–20 person service delivery team across SRE, DevSecOps and support.
• Own production reliability, establish observability standards and SLOs/KPIs.
• Define and implement IaC, deployment automation and vulnerability management.
• Oversee platform lifecycle and drive scalable, fault-tolerant architectures.
