Job summary

Camunda is seeking a Senior Site Reliability Engineer to design, build, and maintain a resilient Kubernetes-based multi-cloud platform. You will own end-to-end systems, improve monitoring and automation, and collaborate with product and engineering teams to deliver reliable software at scale.

You will mentor teammates, participate in on-call rotations, and push for higher quality through automation and robust runbooks. This role is fully remote and globally distributed.

Qualifications

• Deep hands-on experience with Kubernetes in production environments.
• IaC expertise with Terraform (or similar tools).
• Experience with monitoring/observability (Prometheus, Grafana).
• Strong incident response and on-call experience.
• Passion for automation and raising quality.
• Responsible use of AI tools with human accountability.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain our Kubernetes-based multi-cloud platform.
• Build observability and alerting across the stack.
• Own systems end-to-end with on-call rotations and runbooks.
• Ship features and improvements with product teams.
• Push automation to reduce repetitive work and improve reliability.
• Mentor other engineers and share best practices.
