Job summary

Counterpart Health is seeking a Senior Site Reliability Engineer to join our engineering team. You will support Counterpart Health’s infrastructure, automate toil, and ensure scalable performance for domestic and international workloads.

Key skills include Python/Go, Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, gRPC, and Prometheus, plus cloud experience in AWS/GCP/Azure. You will collaborate with data scientists and engineers to deliver reliable services and improve health tech workflows.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of programming experience in Python, Go, or Shell.
• Deep knowledge of containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Experience with public cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Strong networking knowledge (TCP/IP, DNS, firewalls).
• Proficient Linux system administration and automation.

Responsibilities

• Build declarative infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines with Kubernetes.
• Troubleshoot issues to minimize downtime and respond to alerts.
• Help shape SRE team directions aligned with company goals.
• Foster collaboration and cross-functional teamwork.
• Automate delivery pipelines, deployments, and database changes.
