Job summary

ID.me is seeking a Staff Site Reliability Engineer in Mountain View, CA, responsible for transforming infrastructure from monolithic systems to scalable microservices. Qualifications

• At least 10 years of hands‑on coding experience building internal platforms/tools.
• At least 5 years of experience in cloud platforms, preferably GCP.
• Proven experience scaling infrastructure in environments with many thousands of nodes.

Responsibilities

• Execute the transformation from monolith to scalable microservices.
• Drive initiatives to improve reliability.
• Architect systems that promote best practices by default.
• Design observability, reliability, and CI/CD frameworks.
• Mentor and guide a team of 6 engineers.
