Job summary

d-Matrix is seeking a senior SRE to own reliability and observability across colocations, on-prem labs and cloud environments. You will drive provisioning, live incident response, and end-to-end hardware and software platform services in collaboration with hardware and software teams.

You’ll implement IaC with Terraform/Ansible, build automation to reduce toil, design monitoring with Prometheus/Grafana and DataDog, and participate in on-call rotations to ensure QoS and uptime for customers.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in SRE, infra engineering, or systems administration.
• Production IaC experience with Terraform and/or Ansible.
• Cloud operations across AWS, Azure, or GCP including hybrid environments.
• Experience with AI-driven infrastructure tools and AIOps in production.
• Strong Linux, networking, and storage knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Own reliability, automation, and observability across colo, on‑premises lab, and cloud environments.
• End‑to‑end ownership from provisioning through live incident response.
• Collaborate with hardware and software teams on CI/CD, QA, and HPC workloads for silicon development, plus customer-facing environments.
• Build and operate real infrastructure, not tickets; drive provisioning, deployment, and operational changes through Terraform/Ansible.
• Develop automation to eliminate toil—host lifecycle, fleet health checks, auto‑remediation, self‑service tooling, network automation.
• Design and maintain monitoring, alerting, and SLIs (Prometheus/Grafana, DataDog, Splunk).
• Participate in on‑call rotation, triaging incidents, and producing RCAs for P0/P1 incidents.
• Support platform services used by internal teams and external customers, ensuring QoS and uptime.
