Job summary

Ideal candidates will have strong systems plus software backgrounds, with experience spanning both domains. Responsibilities include design reviews, capacity planning, and continuous improvement across large-scale platforms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 5 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages.
• 3 years of experience designing, analyzing, and troubleshooting large-scale distributed systems.
• 2 years of experience leading projects and providing technical leadership.

Responsibilities

• Engage in and improve the whole lifecycle of services—from inception and design, through to deployment, operation and refinement.
• Support services before they go live through system design, platform development, and capacity planning.
• Maintain services once live by monitoring availability, latency and health.
• Scale systems sustainably through automation and changes to improve reliability and velocity.
• Conduct blameless postmortems and sustainable incident response.
