OutSystems is seeking a Site Reliability Engineer in a hybrid onsite role in Menlo Park, CA. You will drive reliability across production systems, collaborate with software teams, and implement scalable, secure infrastructure using cloud-native practices.

The role emphasizes building observable, fault-tolerant systems, leading incident responses, and advancing automation with Python and AI-assisted tooling to accelerate critical workflows.

Qualifications

• BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent degree.
• 6+ years in Site Reliability Engineering at scale.
• Experience with Hadoop and Kubernetes infrastructure.
• Strong knowledge of Linux, networking and containers.
• Proficiency in Python or Go.
• Excellent English communication.
• Experience with prompt engineering in software development.
• Familiarity with AI native IDEs or AI assistants like Cursor, Copilot, Claude.

Responsabilités

• Lead and onboard services to the reliability tenets.
• Establish and maintain SLOs and SLAs.
• Design scalable, reliable, cloud-native infrastructure.
• Collaborate with development teams for resilience.
• Implement monitoring, alerting, logging, and tracing solutions.
• Lead incident response, RCA/post-mortems.
• Automate operational tasks and AI-assisted tooling.
• Participate in on-call rotation for 24/7 production support.
