Job summary

Radley James is seeking a Senior Site Reliability Engineer for a leading High-Frequency Trading firm in New York. You will own reliability, performance, automation and operational excellence for time-sensitive trading systems.

In this role you design, build and maintain scalable AWS infrastructure, implement robust CI/CD, and lead incident response. You will mentor engineers and champion best practices across the engineering organisation.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in SRE, DevOps or platform engineering.
• Hands-on AWS production experience.
• Strong Linux/Unix administration and troubleshooting.
• Experience with IaC, Terraform.
• Scripting in Python.
• Kubernetes and containerized environments.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain highly available infrastructure on AWS.
• Develop and improve automation across infrastructure, deployment and operational processes.
• Establish and maintain monitoring, observability, alerting and incident-management practices.
• Work closely with development teams to improve application reliability and performance.
• Lead incident response, troubleshooting and root-cause analysis for complex production issues.
• Contribute to capacity planning, performance optimisation and disaster-recovery strategies.
• Improve CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes.
• Champion SRE and DevOps best practices across the engineering organisation.
• Mentor engineers and provide technical leadership on reliability and infrastructure matters.
