Job summary

Cognitiv in Bellevue, WA is seeking a Senior Site Reliability Engineer to strengthen our AWS infrastructure and improve service management across Cognitiv. The role focuses on scaling and hardening our AWS environment while supporting a hybrid cloud footprint and multi‑DC coverage with our datacenter‑focused squad.

You will own cloud design, implement scaling, monitoring, and disaster recovery, and collaborate with engineering and product teams.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in operations, software engineering, or as an SRE.
• Deep knowledge of AWS infrastructure, networking, and management.
• Experience with infrastructure as code.
• Proficiency with Python and Bash.
• Ability to support multi‑DC deployments.
• Independent self‑starter with strong communication.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain AWS infrastructure across the environment.
• Evaluate and scale AWS architecture for long‑term growth.
• Collaborate with engineering and product teams to scope projects.
• Improve deployments, monitoring, and disaster recovery.
• Support co‑located datacenter deployments and multi‑DC coverage.
