Job summary

Incode is seeking a Site Reliability Engineer to join our GovCloud (US) infrastructure team in New York. You will enhance availability, performance, and security for government‑sector projects, working with Kubernetes (EKS), Terraform, ArgoCD, and other modern tooling.

You’ll collaborate with engineering and security to enforce FedRAMP, NIST, and related standards while driving automation and incident response improvements across production systems.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in SRE, DevOps, or infrastructure‑focused roles
• Strong Linux production experience with security practices
• Hands‑on GovCloud experience and cloud infrastructure management
• Kubernetes (EKS), Docker, Helm, and production containerization expertise
• Familiarity with FedRAMP, NIST 800‑53, FISMA, SOC 2 or ISO 27001 preferred

Responsibilities

• Apply SRE principles to ensure high availability, performance, and resilience of GovCloud systems.
• Lead on‑call rotations, incident response, root‑cause analysis, and post‑mortems.
• Manage AWS GovCloud infrastructure (EKS, DocumentDB, RDS PostgreSQL, Kafka, OpenSearch, S3).
• Maintain GitOps workflows with ArgoCD, Helm, and Terraform changes.
• Ensure security/compliance through collaboration with Engineering and Security teams.
• Use IaC and automation to improve consistency and reliability across environments.
• Create and maintain runbooks and operational docs; support deployments and troubleshooting.
