Job summary

Sabre is seeking an SRE Software Systems Engineer IV for Data Intelligence and AI Operations to lead reliability across large‑scale data platforms and ML workloads. You will integrate Google Cloud Platform with Terraform, BigQuery and Airflow, building automated, scalable systems and resilient automation to reduce toil.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in systems engineering, DevOps or data engineering within high‑volume, data‑intensive environments.
• Proven hands‑on expertise with Google Cloud Platform, Terraform, BigQuery and Apache Airflow.
• Practical experience using generative AI, automation or analytics tools to improve operational efficiency and platform reliability.
• Advanced proficiency in SQL and Python scripting to automate complex technical tasks.
• Demonstrated ability to manage incident response and partner across teams to build scalable cloud solutions.

Responsibilities

• Modularize and manage core Google Cloud Platform services using Infrastructure as Code to ensure strict security and scalability.
• Optimize resource utilization, auto‑scaling policies and cloud spend for large‑scale data and machine learning workloads.
• Operationalize machine learning models and Retrieval‑Augmented Generation architectures using robust continuous integration pipelines.
• Build automated failovers and schema migrations using Python and Bash to eliminate repetitive operational toil.
• Use generative AI and automation to streamline pipeline observability, trace system telemetry and accelerate incident response.
