Job summary

Cogent Infotech is seeking a Senior SQL & SSIS Developer for the Greater Denver Area. This permanent hybrid FTE requires onsite presence for the first 2-3 months, with continued remote options. You will lead data warehousing development, data modeling, and ETL efforts for a public sector client.

Ideal candidates have strong T-SQL, SSIS, and BI tooling experience, and will mentor junior developers while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable, scalable data solutions.

Qualifications

• Expertise in T-SQL, relational databases, and ETL processes.
• Experience designing data warehouses and data marts.
• Hands-on BI tooling: Crystal Reports and Microsoft BI tools.

Responsibilities

• Architect, develop, test, and deploy complex relational databases and data solutions.
• Diagnose and resolve complex software and system issues to maintain operational integrity.
• Lead design and implementation of data pipelines and ETL processes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams through full project lifecycle.
• Mentor junior developers and review code and designs.
• Document architectures and configurations for repeatable deployment.
• Deliver training and knowledge transfer to end-users and stakeholders.
• Support data initiatives and modernization efforts.
