Lawelawe Technology Services seeks an experienced SQL Server database administrator to own database reliability, performance, and recovery for a federal law enforcement customer. You will work with a cross-functional team to maintain dependable services and implement customer-approved changes.

Responsibilities include installation, tuning, backups, disaster recovery, and documentation. Strong communication and collaboration skills are essential, along with security and compliance adherence.

Competenze

• U.S. citizenship required.
• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 7+ years of relevant experience, including 5+ years SQL experience.
• Hands-on experience with SQL Server installation, performance tuning, backup, and recovery.
• Ability to diagnose database issues and document administrative procedures.
• Experience monitoring database health and identifying causes of performance degradation.
• Ability to plan and document database maintenance and recovery activities with attention to service continuity.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with technical staff and customer stakeholders.
• Ability to successfully complete required criminal history checks and fingerprinting.

• Install, configure, maintain, and support SQL Server database environments.
• Monitor database performance and perform tuning to address identified issues.
• Administer database backups and recovery processes and validate recovery readiness.
• Troubleshoot database availability and performance issues with application and infrastructure teams.
