Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years relevant experience related directly to SQL Server Database Administration.
• Ability to handle multiple assignments concurrently.
• Experience with virtualization technologies such as VMware and Microsoft Hyper-V.
• Experience and knowledge related to source/change control, bug tracking, SDLC, and integration of Relational Databases.
• Ability to appropriately handle confidential and/or sensitive materials.
• Comfort with and willingness to work in groups and individually.
• Ability to document, explain, and present any task related to decisions and processes.

Responsibilities

• Administer Microsoft SQL Server including Replication, Backup/Restore procedures.
• Provide basic systems administration support including planning and configurations.
• Recommending/implementing solutions for SQL performance monitoring and tuning.
• Support visualization technologies and create virtual machines.
• Perform backups for web, application, and database servers.
