Qualifications

5+ years of experience administering SQL Server and Azure SQL environments.
Strong understanding of high availability, backup/recovery, and performance tuning.
Experience with Azure cloud services and Windows Server environments.

Responsibilities

Design, implement, configure, administer, and maintain Microsoft SQL Server database environments.
Design, implement, and support Azure SQL Managed Instance environments.
Perform installations, upgrades, migrations, and ongoing maintenance of SQL Server databases.
Administer across enterprise on-premises and cloud databases.
Monitor availability, health, capacity, and performance of databases.
Troubleshoot complex database and infrastructure issues to maintain SLAs.
Support database requirements for enterprise software and systems.
Ensure databases meet established availability and performance objectives.
