Job summary

MicroHealth is seeking an experienced Senior SQL Application Developer to lead enterprise database development and reporting modernization. The role spans SQL Server, IBM DB2 data sources, Linux and Windows environments, and production support for NPIRS reporting systems.

You will design, optimize, and maintain complex SQL queries, SSRS/SSIS/SSMS tooling, and manage database migrations with minimal downtime. Strong communication and leadership are essential for cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
10+ years of experience with SQL database development and administration.
Advanced SQL programming to optimize complex queries.
Strong Linux admin skills, including shell scripting.
Proven experience migrating databases and reports across platforms.
Experience with Crystal Reports and SSRS development.

Responsibilities

Administer Microsoft SQL Server databases in Windows and Linux environments.
Monitor health, performance, storage, and availability across platforms.
Develop, schedule, and troubleshoot SQL Server Agent jobs and automated processes.
Create and maintain SSRS reports and migrate SAP Crystal Reports to SSRS.
Design, develop, test, and optimize complex SQL queries and procedures.
Perform database migrations with minimal downtime and ensure data quality.
