The role encompasses database administration, ETL development, reporting modernization, and production support for NPIRS and HSP healthcare reporting systems, with a focus on performance and data quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in CS/IT or related field.
• 10+ years of SQL database development and administration.
• Experience with SQL Server on Windows and Linux.
• Experience migrating databases and reports between platforms.
• Healthcare data experience preferred.
• Knowledge of federal healthcare compliance preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administer Microsoft SQL Server databases in Windows and Linux environments.
• Monitor health, performance, storage, and availability across platforms.
• Develop, schedule, monitor, and troubleshoot SQL Server Agent jobs and automated workflows.
• Migrate databases and reports between platforms with minimal downtime.
• Design and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and SSRS/SSIS reports.
• Lead modernization by converting Crystal Reports to SSRS while preserving business rules.
