AGM Tech Solutions - A Woman and Latina-owned IT Staffing Firm-an Inc. 5000 company seeks a Senior SQL Performance Engineer to design, optimize, and support enterprise SQL Server environments. The role emphasizes performance tuning, ETL/SSIS, security, and data integration.

The candidate will lead data migration initiatives, ensure data governance and reporting accuracy, and provide technical leadership across ERP integrations. Strong SQL/T-SQL expertise is required.

Qualifications

• 8–10+ years of experience in SQL Server environments.
• Design, develop, and optimize complex SQL queries, stored procedures, views, and functions.
• Experience with SSIS/ETL development and data migration.
• Production support with emphasis on high availability, security, backup/recovery.
• Lead data integration initiatives and ensure data governance and reporting accuracy.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to team members.
• Experience with cloud data platforms is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop complex SQL queries, stored procedures, views, and functions.
• Optimize SQL Server performance through query tuning, indexing, and monitoring.
• Manage and support production SQL databases with high availability and data integrity.
• Design and maintain scalable database schemas and data structures.
• Develop, support, and troubleshoot SSIS/ETL solutions for data migration and integration.
• Implement database security, backup, recovery, replication, and DR strategies.
• Lead data migration and integration initiatives across multiple systems.
• Ensure data governance, quality, and reporting accuracy.
• Provide technical leadership and support for database management and ERP integrations.
