Qualifications

• Expert-level SQL skills including complex joins, CTEs, window functions, and tuning.
• Experience with Microsoft Azure and large datasets.
• Proven ability to design scalable, high-performance data solutions.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to influence technical standards and mentor peers.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain advanced SQL queries, views, functions, and stored procedures supporting mission-critical systems.
• Install, configure, and maintain SQL Server instances and related components as needed.
• Optimize database and query performance through indexing, execution plans, and schema improvements.
• Lead complex data modeling and transformation efforts for transactional and analytical use cases.
• Collaborate with engineering, ETL, BI, and product teams to define scalable data solutions.
• Troubleshoot and resolve data quality, performance, and reliability issues; ensure data governance and security compliance.
