Job summary

Centene Corporation is seeking a software engineer to design, develop, and maintain enterprise data solutions across claims, authorizations, members, and providers. You will optimize SQL Server objects and support the letter-generation workflow, using C# to produce Word documents and SSIS for ETL tasks.

Collaborate with data modelers, architects, business analysts, and SMEs to deliver robust data processing, EDW feeds, and reporting. Flexible remote/hybrid/office options are offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative or business field.
• 4–6 years of related experience.
• Experience with SQL Server development (T-SQL, stored procedures, index creation, performance tuning).
• 3+ years of C# development.
• 3+ years of SSIS development.
• Experience with EDI and Healthcare data is preferred.
• Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) preferred

Responsibilities

• Designs, develops, and implements complex enterprise software solutions.
• Create, optimize, and re-engineer SQL Server objects for data staging and transformation.
• Own and enhance the in-house letter application and document generation workflow.
• Develop and support SSIS packages, ETL, file processing, and document conversion.
• Schedule, monitor, and troubleshoot jobs; perform data analysis, testing, and production support.
• Create technical documentation and communicate issues to stakeholders.
