Centene Management Company LLC is seeking a skilled software engineer to design, develop, and support enterprise data solutions. You will create and optimize SQL Server objects, maintain the letter generation system in C#, and build SSIS ETL workflows.

A strong candidate will have 4–6 years in SQL Server development, 3+ years in C#, and 3+ years in SSIS, with EDI/healthcare data experience preferred. You will collaborate with data modelers, architects, analysts, and SMEs to deliver solutions,

Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor's degree in a quantitative or business field and 4–6 years of related experience.
• Requires 4–6 years of Microsoft SQL Server development (T-SQL, procedures, optimization).
• Requires 3+ years of C# development.
• Requires 3+ years of SSIS development.
• Experience with EDI is preferred.
• Experience with Healthcare/Managed Care data is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Designs, develops, and implements complex enterprise software solutions across the business.
• Creates, optimizes, and re-engineers SQL Server objects (tables, views, procedures) for data staging/transformation.
• Owns, maintains, and enhances the in-house letter application using C# and Word document generation.
• Develops and supports SSIS packages for ETL, file processing, and document conversion workflows.
• Schedules, monitors, and troubleshoots jobs using ActiveBatch; conducts testing and production support.
• Produces technical documentation, articulates issues to stakeholders, and designs solution models.
• Contributes to data mart development, EDI X12 processes, and EDW feeds.
