Job summary

Green Expert Technology (GreenXT) is seeking a SQL Developer to join our team to support RCOH SQL development for the SUPSHIP Newport News Planning Team. You will provide SQL support to project teams and ensure interoperability across legacy and modern data platforms.

The role requires a DoD Secret clearance, extensive experience with MS SQL Server and Microsoft Access, and a solid background in government workflows and cybersecurity requirements.

Qualifications

• Active DoD Secret level clearance is required.
• Ten years’ experience in aircraft carrier maintenance/ship repair or equivalent.
• Strong MS SQL Server and Access (accdb) experience.
• Proficient with MS Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.
• Security+ or equivalent certification; SQL Server certification.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, enhance, and troubleshoot Access applications and accdb databases.
• Administer SQL Server databases: backups, tuning, security, user accounts.
• Design and optimize SQL database‑driven apps with data integrity and cybersecurity in mind.
• Collaborate with Contracting Officers and planning users to implement features.
• Convert Access SQL to SQL Server syntax; design GUI forms; debug VBA code.
• Improve security features of Access apps and support ATO processes.
