The ideal candidate has 8+ years of database experience, strong T‑SQL skills, SSRS/Power BI reporting, and hands-on Azure cloud DBs. Collaboration with development teams and documentation are essential parts of the job.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in CS/MIS or related field preferred.
• 8+ years of experience with database design, maintenance and administration across multiple platforms.
• Experience with backup and recovery, parameter configuration and data modeling.
• 8+ years writing complex T‑SQL with views, stored procedures and UDFs.
• 5+ years with MS SQL Server and SSRS using parameters, sub-reports and drill-down.
• 5+ years producing technical documentation (requirements, specs, traces, designs, tests).
• 3+ years creating Azure Power BI reports.
• 3+ years developing with web applications.
• 2+ years Azure DevOps and Visual Studio .NET.
• 3+ years administering Azure SQL Managed Instance, Azure SQL Database or PostgreSQL.
• Expertise in data security standards and regulatory requirements.
• Strong documentation and reporting proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement and administer databases across multiple platforms.
• Optimize performance and tune complex queries to reduce response times.
• Plan backup, recovery, and disaster strategies for critical data.
• Create reports and dashboards using Azure Power BI and SSRS.
• Collaborate with development teams to align applications with data policies.
• Document architecture, requirements and testing plans.
