The candidate should have strong communication skills and a track record of collaborating with technical teams, vendors, and business stakeholders to ensure reliable database services and data-driven decision making.

Qualifications

• 7 years of SQL Server database administration experience.
• 4 years of database administration experience supporting production servers.
• 3 years of data analytics experience.
• 1 year of Azure database administration experience.
• 1 year of data warehouse experience.
• Excellent communication and professional customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Administer and support SQL Server databases and servers for production systems.
• Monitor database health, security, availability, and performance; troubleshoot issues.
• Install, configure, upgrade, and maintain SQL Server software and service packs.
• Migrate databases to newer environments.
• Deploy, configure, secure, back up, and maintain Azure SQL databases.
• Support migrations from on-premises SQL Server to Azure SQL and integrate with Azure services.
• Design and maintain data models, schemas, and data dictionaries.
• Develop data migration processes for ETL workflows.
• Deploy schema changes across test and production environments.
• Support data warehouse and Power BI environments with the admin team.
• Coordinate backup and restore requests with the backup team.
• Collaborate with developers, stakeholders, and vendors to define requirements.
