Job summary

A technology solutions provider is seeking a Senior SQL Server DBA for a fully remote position based in South Carolina. The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of experience in SQL database administration, including experience in migrating databases and managing permissions. Must Have/Required Skills

• Must have 5 years’ experience as a Senior SQL Server DBA.
• Must have 1 year of migrating application database between versions and platforms.
• 5 years Backup/Restore experience.
• Managing roles, permissions, and encryption.

Preferred/Nice to Have Skills

• Implementing Transparent Data Encryption (TDE)
• Database Design and Normalization
• PowerShell

Required Education and/or Certifications

• A bachelor's degree in computer science or a related area and experience in computer system development and modification. Relevant experience may substitute for the bachelor’s degree on a year-for-year basis.
