Job summary

Tri-Com Consulting Group is seeking a senior data integration engineer for a 1-year contract in the East Hartford, CT area. The role focuses on SQL Server 2014–2022 development, ETL design, data migration, and data cleansing across environments using SSIS and related tools.

You will design tables, indexes, XML schemas, and implement performance tuning, data validation, and deployment automation while collaborating with business analysts and developers to ensure accurate data migration and timely

Qualifications

Ten or more years of development experience with SQL Server 2014–2022.
Experience designing tables, indexes, and foreign keys with appropriate data types.
Advanced SQL and T-SQL development; complex queries, stored procedures, triggers, UDFs.
ETL concepts; experience building ETL processes; SSIS a plus.
Knowledge of XML schemas, XML data storage and transformation; legacy data conversion.
Performance tuning: query/index/execution plan analysis and troubleshooting.
Data migration, extraction, validation, cleansing, and reconciliation.
Experience with deployment automation and data management documentation.

Responsibilities

Design and build ETL processes and data extractors/loaders.
Migrate and validate data, cleanse data, and reconcile across environments.
Create and maintain technical documentation and status reports.
Provide management-level statistics on data migration progress and issues.
Investigate defects and rectify ETL issues; collaborate with developers and analysts.
