Job summary

Ellenco Estágios e Treinamentos seeks an ETL Developer to migrate Teradata to Redshift and optimize SQL queries across relational and multidimensional databases. You will build robust ETL pipelines, implement testing, and collaborate with IT teams to deliver reliable analytics.

The role focuses on solving complex data problems, designing OLAP solutions, and applying dimensional modeling, star schema concepts, and warehousing fundamentals to deliver actionable insights.

Qualifications

• Experience migrating Teradata to Redshift data platforms.
• Strong SQL development with complex queries and tuning.
• ETL using relational and multidimensional databases.
• Unit testing and documenting tests.
• Telecom data experience is a plus (topology data preferred).
• Knowledge of dimensional modeling, star schema, and data warehousing.

Responsibilities

• Develop and fine tune IT solutions, including coding, testing, debugging, and design.
• Research and plan solutions for existing company problems.

Project Details: Headcount - will be working on Teradata to Redshift migration

Must Have Skills

• Teradata and Redshift data platforms expertise including prior migration experience from Teradata to Redshift
• Strong proficiency in SQL development, including complex query writing, performance tuning, and optimization techniques.
• Proficient in working with relational and multidimensional databases to extract, transform, and load (ETL) data efficiently.
• Unit testing and test case writing/documenting expertise
• Prior Telecom experience. Having experience working with telecom data such as topology considered a plus.
• Analytical and Critical thinker, well organized, and a team player Strong proficiency in data modeling tools and techniques, including dimensional modeling, star schema design, and data warehousing concepts.

Day to day responsibilities

• Developing and fine tuning IT solutions. Thiscan include anything from coding, testing, debugging, designing or implementing newly developed tools.
• Researching and planning solutions for existing problems within the company.
• Responsible for building online analytical processing (OLAP). They also work with databases, both relational and multidimensional.
• Responsible for managing others in the IT department or in the company.
• The primary focus of this position is to solve problems, ETL Developer is expected toalways bemining data and presenting it in an understandable way. They should be capable of creating tables, writing reports on their findings, and simplify highly technical language for others in the company.
