Job summary

Revelyst is seeking a Sr. Apparel Designer for Simms, based in Bozeman, MT.

Lead design execution from concept development and seasonal color direction through material selection, garment construction, and product commercialization, delivering elevated, performance-oriented outdoor apparel. The role partners with Product Development, Merchandising, Brand, Marketing, and Sourcing to translate consumer insights and trends into differentiated, market-ready designs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Apparel or Fashion Design or related field.
• 6–8+ years of apparel design experience with sportswear/technical or outdoor apparel.
• Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.
• Expert knowledge of color theory, garment construction, fit and trims.
• Ability to translate consumer insights and trends into innovative designs.
• Strong cross-functional collaboration and time management.

Responsibilities

• Lead design execution from concept development and seasonal color direction through material selection, garment construction, and product commercialization.
• Collaborate with Product Development, Merchandising, Brand, Marketing, and Sourcing to deliver differentiated, commercially viable products.
• Translate consumer insights and trends into innovative, market-ready designs.
• Develop cohesive color and design direction across an entire product line.
• Balance creativity with manufacturability, cost targets, and business objectives.
