Job summary

Highbar is seeking Faculty members for its Sports Residency Program in the New England area. The program offers a tuition-free, advanced Sports Clinical Specialist (SCS) residency while allowing clinicians to continue earning their full salary.

Faculty members lead didactic content, mentor residents, and drive professional development within the organization. Compensation includes a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Board Certified Orthopedic Sports Specialist required or equivalent
• Completed the Highbar Residency Faculty and Mentor Training course (can complete after acceptance)
• 3 years preferred teaching, mentor, and leadership experience
• 2 years minimum experience creating and organizing post-professional education

Responsibilities

• Teaching and development of didactic course content
• Perform a performance review of the assigned Residency Assistant
• Act as lead instructor for the assigned weekend laboratory intensive
• Assess resident need for remediation and participate in residency remediation as needed
• Act as resident mentor a minimum of 1 time per year or as residency needs allow
• Participate in program and company marketing opportunities
• Actively leads professional development of the host company
• Engage in life-long-learning
