Amazon.com Services LLC in Seattle is seeking a Senior Business Development Manager to build and lead strategic partnerships for Prime Video Sports. You will originate and negotiate partnerships with leagues, rights holders, data and tech vendors, and venue owners to launch customer experiences.

Collaborate with Product and Tech to identify opportunities, shape strategy, and drive initiatives in areas such as AI and interactivity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree.
• 6+ years of professional or military experience.
• 6+ years of developing, negotiating and executing business agreements experience.
• Experience developing strategies that influence leadership decisions at the organizational level.
• Experience managing programs across cross-functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules.
• MBA
• Experience interpreting data and making business recommendations
• Experience identifying, negotiating, and executing complex legal agreements

Responsibilities

• Originate, structure and negotiate first-of-their-kind partnerships where no template, precedent or comparable agreement exists, and define the commercial model from scratch.
• Lead complex multi-party negotiations across leagues and rights holders, commercial partners, data and technology vendors, and venue owners.
• Own initiatives end to end, from strategy and partner selection through negotiation, launch and ongoing management, rather than handing off at signature.
• Shape the opportunity set with Product and Tech, including emerging technology, and decide what to pursue, what to defer and what to decline.
• Quarterback across cross functional teams and organizations. Product, Engineering, Legal, Finance, Ads, Marketing, PR and Production all touch these launches, across multiple Amazon businesses.
• Represent Amazon as the senior commercial point of contact with external partners and build durable relationships.
• Communicate to senior leadership, including recurring written updates and inputs to annual and longer-range planning.
