You will supervise part-time staff, create features and releases, design media guides, and manage statistics, websites, and social media content.

Responsibilities include coordinating media interviews, conducting interviews, travel to away events, and supporting all office activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required for entry to the role.
• 2 years experience in sports information, media relations, or related field.
• Master's degree preferred in journalism, communications or related field.
• Experience as lead basketball communications contact is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Serve as the primary communications contact for OU's men's basketball program and other sport as assigned.
• Supervise part-time employees and student assistants.
• Create unique written content, features and releases, design media guides.
• Compile statistics and oversee website and social media content.
• Arrange media interviews, conduct interviews, travel to away events.
• Assist in all aspects of office activity and coverage of other sports.
