Job summary

The Osborn Engineering Company, through OSPORTS division, is seeking an enthusiastic Project Architect to lead technical development and documentation for high-profile sports, entertainment, and public assembly projects.

Ideal candidates bring 6+ years of project architecture experience in sports facilities, strong knowledge of codes and building systems, and proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and Bluebeam. Collaboration and client communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Must have a Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Architecture.
• Must have 6+ years of project architect experience in Sports (stadiums, arenas, ballparks, etc.).
• Strong understanding of building codes, zoning regulations, building construction, systems, and site requirements.
• Registered Architect with active license; NCARB certification is a plus.
• Ability to provide efficient and elegant 2D and 3D design solutions.
• Excellent communication with clients and team.
• Strong relationship-building and problem-solving skills.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Guide design, construction methodology, material application, and supplier appropriateness.
• Understanding of architectural building systems.
• Proficient in Revit (required).
• Proficient in AutoCAD (required).
• Proficient in Bluebeam (required).
• Proficient in Microsoft Project (preferred).
• Proficient in Photoshop (preferred).
• Proficient in LEED (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Documentation and delivery of architectural documentation from conception through construction.
• Research code requirements and feasible design solutions.
• Manage project budget, work plan, consultants, and schedule.
• Communicate with Project Manager and other project architects on deliverables.
• Create design solutions meeting client specifications.
• Create Project Manual and Specifications.
• Maintain collaborative working relationships with the project team.
• Act as liaison between client and architectural team.
• Promote communication via team meetings and memos.
• Ensure documentation complies with company standards.
• Coordinate team effort to meet schedule and budget.
• Construction administration including submittals and RFIs.
• Provide office leadership and mentoring to staff.
• Review work and communicate needs to project staff.
• Define staff requirements for projects.
