Job summary

Okta is seeking a highly technical Splunk Infrastructure Engineer with a specialty in Splunk to own and evolve our Splunk ecosystem. This role requires deep experience with Splunk Cloud, dashboards, and incident response, and includes on-site onboarding in our San Francisco or Chicago offices.

Qualifications

• 5+ years managing Splunk Cloud at scale (1000+ services).
• Expertise in creating intuitive Splunk dashboards with cross-source correlations.
• Data-driven approach to debugging cross-service bottlenecks.

Responsibilities

• Splunk Engineering: Optimize collection, processing, and storage of log data for low latency Splunk services.
• Incident Response: Participate in on-call rotations and lead post-incident reviews for observability improvements.
• Automation: Automate deployment and scaling of observability agents and collectors.
